Savvyy and AI assistants

Ask your assistant about your people.

Connect ChatGPT, Claude or Claude Code to your Savvyy account and it can look someone up, read what you two have discussed, see what you owe them, and jot down a note or a follow-up for you. You decide when to connect it.

What your assistant can do with Savvyy

Read

  • Search your contacts by name, company, email or phone fragment, or #tag.
  • Open a contact: names, company, title, emails, phones, address, tags, LinkedIn URL, birthday, your notes about them, and when you were last in touch.
  • Read the conversation history with a contact: your notes, synced emails and LinkedIn messages, as plain text.
  • List your open or finished follow-ups about a contact.

Write

  • Add a note to a contact's history.
  • Create a follow-up for a contact, with or without a date.

Connect in seconds

Every assistant asks you for the same one line, the address of Savvyy's connector:

https://app.savvyy.com/mcp

Then it sends you to Savvyy to press Allow. If you haven't signed in to Savvyy in that browser recently, it asks you to sign in first.

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT on the web, open chatgpt.com/plugins, press the plus button, then Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Savvyy, paste the address above as the Server URL, and choose OAuth under Authentication.
  3. Accept the risk warning ("I understand and want to continue"), then press Create as a plugin.
  4. Install it: open it under your personal plugins and press the plus button.
  5. Sign in to Savvyy when asked and press Allow. In a chat, type @ and choose Savvyy.

Only certain ChatGPT plans support MCP connections. See OpenAI's help page for details.

Claude

  1. In claude.ai, open Customize, then Connectors, then Add, then Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Savvyy, paste the address above, continue.
  3. Under OAuth client choose "Register automatically"; under Authentication choose "Sign in now".
  4. Sign in to Savvyy when asked and press Allow.

On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner of your organization adds Savvyy first, under Organization settings, then Connectors. You then open Customize, then Connectors, press Connect next to Savvyy, sign in to Savvyy and press Allow.

Claude Code

  1. In a terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user savvyy https://app.savvyy.com/mcp
  2. Start Claude Code, type /mcp, choose Savvyy, then Authenticate. Sign in to Savvyy in the browser that opens and press Allow.

What leaves Savvyy, and to whom

When you ask your assistant about a contact, Savvyy answers that one question with the fields listed above, over an encrypted connection, and only for the account you signed in with. That answer is then handled by the assistant's maker (OpenAI or Anthropic) under their terms, as anything you type into the assistant is. Savvyy itself sends nothing to them on its own, and nothing an assistant reads is used to train Savvyy.

To disconnect an assistant, remove it inside the assistant.
